Paywong Launches WooCommerce Plugin

Online merchants using WooCommerce on WordPress can now easily start accepting cryptocurrencies as payment just by installing Paywong’s recently launched plugin. This will enable merchants to not only get access to increased sales as it opens doors to buyers internationally who previously could not access their products and services but also provides a higher level of convenience to their customers via additional payment methods.

Integrate Paywong in 3 easy steps

Firstly, ensure that you have your App API Token before following these simple steps:

Step One: Installing Plugin on WordPress

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, choose Plugins > Add New, and search for Paywong Payments in the search bar.

2. Click Install Now.

Step Two: Setting Up Payment Method

Navigate to your WooCommerce Settings and select the Payments tab. When you’ve successfully installed and activated the Paywong plugin, you will see the following, click on Manage.

  1. Enable the plugin
  2. Set environment accordingly
  3. Input your App API Token in accordance with the selected environment
  4. Save changes made

Step Three: Setting Up Webhook

To ensure Paywong can communicate with your WooCommerce site and update your order statuses in real time.

  1. Head to your Paywong’s App Settings (where you find your App API Token).
  2. Scroll below until you find the Webhook field:
  3. Enter the following: https://your_site/?wc-api=paywong
    Replace your_site with the URL of your WordPress site.
  4. Save changes made

And that’s it! You’re now ready to accept crypto payments through your WordPress website. 🚀🌕
