    -
Accepts payments directly from your website or mobile app.
  3. Content Management System plugins
    -
Setup is instant for your WooCommerce, OpenCart, or Shopify store.

Authorization & Credentials

In order to integrate Paywong with your application or web store, you will need to retrieve your App API Token. Below are the steps to retrieve your App API Token.

  1. Create a Paywong Account.
  2. From your dashboard -> under Payments -> Head to Apps and click on +New app.

3. Once an app has been created. An App Id and App API Token will be generated for you.

Important Notes:

You would need to enable the App to activate your App API Token in order to start integrating.

Resetting API Token: You may request to have your App API Token to be reset. However, this will invalidate previous tokens so make sure to replace them in ALL your integrations.

Webhooks

Paywong uses webhooks to notify your app when an event occurs that is related to your app. Webhooks are especially useful for asynchronous events such as when a customer initiates a payment, when a payment is overdue, or when a payment is confirmed or rejected by our smart contract.

Paywong can send real-time notifications to your app via a webhook. The notifications to your app are sent as a JSON payload via HTTPS. These notifications can then be used to trigger actions in your backend systems.

Steps to receive Paywong Webhook:

  1. Create a webhook endpoint on your local server as an HTTP endpoint (URL).
  2. Handle requests from Paywong by parsing each event object and returning 2xx response status codes.
  3. Register your HTTPS endpoint on your app’s settings in the Webhook field.
